Overview

The Level 3 Diploma in Nail Technology (Focus Awards) provides advanced skills for professional nail enhancement, manicure/pedicure treatments, and client care. Ideal for working in commercial salons, high-end nail bars, cruise ship spas, or mobile/home-based settings.

Delivered over 14–20 weeks (1 or 2 days per week), the course includes theory lessons, demonstrations, supervised practicals, product workshops, and independent study — focusing on safe electric filing, gel/acrylic systems, and advanced nail art.

Professional Standards & Requirements

Learners must:

  • Wear the full required uniform (black T-shirt, black trousers, closed black footwear, hair tied back, minimal jewellery)
  • Maintain professional grooming, hygiene, and punctuality (minimum 90% attendance)
  • Follow hygiene, PPE, disinfection, COSHH, and RIDDOR procedures
  • Uphold client confidentiality and professional communication
  • Maintain a structured lever-arch portfolio with before/after photos, logs, and evidence

No mobile phones during treatments; no food/drink in treatment areas.
