The Level 3 Diploma in Beauty Massage (Focus Awards) is designed for learners seeking professional skills to work confidently in the beauty and wellness industry. This qualification equips you with advanced massage techniques, client consultation expertise, and a solid understanding of anatomy and physiology — preparing you for roles in commercial salons, spas, health clubs, hotels, cruise ships, or your own mobile/home-based business.
Our practical, hands-on training includes theory lessons, educator demonstrations, supervised practical sessions, product and anatomy workshops, and independent study. Delivered over 14 weeks (2 days per week), the course builds safe, effective, and adaptable treatments aligned with industry standards.
Professional Standards & Requirements
Learners must:
- Wear the required uniform (black T-shirt, black trousers, closed black footwear, hair tied back, minimal jewellery) at all times
- Maintain professional grooming, hygiene, and punctuality (minimum 90% attendance)
- Follow hygiene, PPE, infection control, COSHH, and RIDDOR procedures
- Uphold client confidentiality (GDPR), professional communication, and respect
- Maintain an organised lever-arch portfolio with dividers, treatment logs, and evidence
No mobile phones during treatments; no food/drink in treatment areas.

Your Beauty Massage Training Begins
Training starts with foundational health, hygiene, and safety practices, moving into client consultations, anatomy, and core massage techniques. You’ll gain hands-on experience in a supportive environment with expert guidance, focusing on professional standards, client care, and safe treatment delivery. All practical work emphasises real-world application to build confidence and competence.
What You Will Learn
By the end of the course, you will be able to perform professional full-body massage treatments safely and effectively, adapt techniques to individual client needs, and provide high-quality care. Key areas include:
- Swedish massage movements (effleurage, petrissage, tapotement, friction, vibration)
- Anatomy and physiology of muscles, bones, joints, skin, and body systems
- Identifying contraindications and modifying/refusing treatments when necessary
